Reading is very important and something that we should do with our kids and ourselves. It can be hard to have a child that wants to read because of video content being more accessible and easier to consume. If you want to raise a reader, you should start off by always reading to them. Even when they are able to read. Making sure that they are reading the things that they want to read is also very important.
- As soon as you can start reading to them. This includes things like baby books.
- Make it a routine to read to them every day or at least on some schedule.
- Once they get older, start by getting books that are more into their interests.
